Avenida Apartments, Town Centre, Benidorm

We went here at the beginning of March which was before the season started. To be honest, the apartments are basic but comfortable. I slept particularly well on the beds which were comfy. The only negative I would say is that, if it's busy outside at night, earplugs would be a good bet. Our last night had folk wandering about shouting and, to be honest, we could hear every word. Apart from that, we were very pleased.

These apartments are in a very central position, you are in the pedestrian precinct. Restuarants & cafes all around, which was good for us as we ate out all the time. Think it would be hard to self cater at times, as you only have a two ring hob, and microwave which doubles as a grill. Would be better with an oven. The apartment themselves are basic, but had all we needed for a 3 night stay. Very close to the promenade and beach. The noise from the street tends to rise up towards the apartments, we stayed in January so wasn't bad, but it must be noisey in the peak times, again you are in the centre of town, so this must be taken into consideration.

Second time at the Avenida booking through Benidorm Spotlight was quick, efficient and have every confidence booking again with them in the future. Lady at reception is very professional and efficient. Lad with the glasses is rather vague (my father and I speak Spanish so not a language issue) he gets a bit stressed under pressure making mistakes. The apartments are clean with fresh towels and bedding regularly, the cleaners are very sweet and work hard. The rooms were 2 single beds and 2 double beds were all different sizes and layouts not a problem but the bathrooms were too small to use in comfort but that is the only downside really. The kitchen is well equipment with a large fridge/freezer, air conditioning. The location is what it is all about here, loved it last year and it didn't lose any of its appeal this year. Definately a place for families and couples. Drunken Hen's and Stag's keep to the New Town please! Beach and cove close enough for a stroll without the stress of loading up cars, taking a bus and the bars, restaurants and shops were fantastic. Avenida will ...
