oh how disapointed we were with this hotel.we had often seen it on our many visits to benidorm & thought it would be great because of its location but we soon found out we were paying only for the location & not for the facilities. it was xmas & there was no entertainment of any sort not even music in the bar one was expected to sit in the foyer after dinner & drink & then go to bed if you were not able enough to walk out of the hotel & find your own entertainment.there was only the foyer with bar attached & no other areas with facilities we were told there was a room downstairs but that was only open fri & sat. xmas eve & day it appears was not a sufficient occasion for any change in this routine.the food was mainly spanish but as we live in spain & enjoy the food this was fine but there were several brits who could not eat the food from the limited menu & the altrnative offered was salad & steak & chips. please note this hotel has waiter service only & you have no choice of food only ...

We stayed in the Cimbel Hotel and it an excellent Hotel, always very clean and the hotel staff were very good and always helpful. If i was being picky i would say that the food is not to everyones tastes as it is always AL-a-Carte which does get a bit much after a while. We ate out a few times and it was a change but the position of the hotel is perfect in every way. fabulous views of the beach from nearly all rooms. Great stay.
