Benidorm in July

The heat is on and Benidorm comes alive with the hustle and bustle of thousands of holidaymakers. This time of year is always popular so our tip would be BOOK EARLY!

For the young ones the party season is in full swing in the clubs and bars. A full programme of events is always advertised so check out where your favourite DJ is playing. For families the theme parks and water parks are a great place to tire out the kids! Whilst older couples might want to get out on a daytrip and visit places like spectacular Guadalest.

The 16th July sees the fiesta of the Virgen del Carmen, the seamen's patron, when religious processions and wreath laying on the sea takes place. Keep your eyes open for the flotilla of boats that leave the harbour in early evening to accompany the priest who does the blessing.

Weather: 21-29 degrees. Day-wear: swimwear, strappy tops/t-shirts, linen and shorts. Evening: as cool as you like!

6 and 7 July - San Fermin
First weekend in July - St Christopher
16 July - Fiestas of the Carmen
25 July - Benidorm's patron saint St James
