Golondro Apartments, Town Centre, Benidorm Apartamentos Golondro, Centro de Ciudad - Versión Española

Combine the new with the old at the Golondro Apartments in the heart of Benidorm Town.

These brand new, ultra modern apartments are situated only moments away from the heart of the quaint old town with traditional shops and tapas bars in tiny lanes; close to the main shopping area and the entrance to L'Aiguera park, a relaxing green space in the city.

Only 100 metres away, the Levante beach is a haven for sun worshippers and water sports fans on its wide sweep of golden sand.

Newly constructed to a very high standard, the Golondro consists of apartments with 1 bedroom or with 2 bedrooms (1 double, 1 single bedroom) which sleep up to 4 or 5 people.

Guests will be delighted with the level of facilities provided. The light and airy 'dream kitchen' has an enormous fridge/freezer, acres of workspace, gas hob, up-to-the-minute oven and washing machine, whilst the comfortable lounge/diner is furnished with a sofa bed and TV.

Each spotlessly clean apartment has all bed-linen and towels provided for the arrival of guests. There is also air conditioning throughout, and even central heating for when the nights get a little chilly in the low season.

The Golondro apartments perfectly live up to the philosophy of their management company - provide high quality materials and equipment so that guests enjoy a happy holiday.

The location of the apartments makes them extremely interesting in both high and low season. In summer the beach is just two minutes away for lazy days lounging from morning till afternoon, but when the days cool down, the quality shops and other diversions are on hand close by to this little oasis of calm and tranquillity.

This is why couples, families or groups of friends will find the Golondro Apartments so ideal, they're right on the doorstep of all the best that Benidorm offers.

With buses, taxis and other transport links to wherever you may wish to go located within a couple of minutes' stroll you have myriad choices of things to do and places to go.

Benidorm is well known for its theme parks, top class entertainment and choice of eateries, but the whole area of the Costa Blanca, easily reached by bus, car or train, is chock full of magnificent scenery, history and sports facilities which make great excursions for one and all.

The Golondro Apartments, in a perfect location with quality

Having just returned from a weeks holiday,SEPT 2009, I would just like to say how really nice these apartments are. We were met upon arrival and shown the apartment, we were given two sets of keys and had to pay 100euro breakage deposit. It has a perfectly equipped kitchen, kettle toasters microwave etc, washing machine and outside laundry area, in the living room there was a tv and sofa bed, iron and ironing board, and two clean bedrooms, and a modern bathroom with plenty of hot water, clean towels and spare bed linen and hangers in the wardrobe (no safe in apartment though). The only downsides to this property was the mattresses on the beds were very uncomfortable, if you think of a very thin mattress then that would describe it, the sofa bed was also very thin and worn. Outside on the street it is being pedestrianised with block paving, so is very uneven, but didn`t disturb us to much. It is situated in the OLD TOWN so for us was a perfect location, and had some wonderful restaurants nearby. Overall I would recommend both these apartments, and booking through benidorm spotlight, and would certainly return here in future (if they changed ...

Something important i wanted to add to my review just submitted.....is the parking issue. You cannot park outside the apartments, there is a car park 2 streets away but its 15E a night which can make cheap car hire very expensive all of a sudden. We didnt suffer too much as I had my EU disabled badge which meant i had nearby street parking available. Other regular spaces few and far between. Maybe consider a shuttle transfer from airport & use taxi's & public transport...depending on your circumstances. Theres so much to do in the immediate area, you may not need a car?
