1934: The original Hotel Marconi is built, by Mr. Miguel Barceló Martínez (Radiotelegrapher from the Transatlántic company).

1949: The first refurbishment is made, adding one more floor. Dancing is introduced with live music.

1969: The old hotel is demolished. The new Marconi is built on the same historic site.

2002: More refurbishments are made, new system for security, fire precautions, and guests´ comfort.

2007: The Marconi looks forward to playing host, to even more of Europe´s sun seekers.
