Airport Bus Service Starts

We've waited decades, but at last the new bus service from the El Altet airport to Benidorm commenced this week. Run by the Alsa Company, the bus will make 4 journeys a day and cost €6.

The service is needed now more than ever before as the budget airlines which bring thousands of passengers into the airport are helping to change the face of holidaymaking in the area. Released from the traditional shackles of package tours, holidaymakers are able to choose their length of stay, book their own hotel and then need economical transport to their destination, the bus is the perfect answer to this.
