...the main pool meets Olympic requirements!
Aquatically minded citizens will be able to keep fit and warm next winter as they swim in the area's first covered swimming pool which is due to open its doors just in time for the cooler months of the year.
The La Nucía installation will feature learners' pools, hydro-massage, a spa, and a sauna; there will also be a gym and restaurant/cafeteria. And just in case the Olympic games should ever be held in Benidorm, the main pool meets Olympic requirements, being 25 metres long with 8 lanes for competitors! Not bad for a cost of only €3 million.
