Bijou stories not quite grand enough for their own headline.

Environmental experts have warned that if pollution of the environment is not stopped, then the province of Alicante will lose 20% of its water supply and suffer an increase in average temperatures of 4 degrees in only 75 year's time.

The Benidorm Clinic private hospital has been designated as one of the top three hospitals in the Valencian Community and one of the top 20 in all of Spain in a recent survey which took into account standards of service, patient care and costs.

The crew of a fishing boat from Javea, just up the coast, got a shock when they pulled in their nets on a fishing trip near Ibiza. Instead of hundreds of flapping fish they discovered the remains of a WWII German plane which had crashed into the sea over 60 years ago.
