Brits Love Benidorm

Despite all the efforts of the hotel owners' organisation Hosbec to increase the number of Spanish visitors to the town the vast majority of Benidorm's paying customers are British. Official statistics show that only 23.1% of the total 'hotel nights per person' are Spanish, 11.6% are other nationalities and a whopping 65.3% are British.

With hotel occupancy currently running at 66.7% the owners would like to attract more national visitors to increase occupancy rates and increase the ratio of Spanish visitors to one third.
