Button B

terrifying 90-minute ordeal during which neighbours used soap and Fairy Liquid
We once jokingly threatened to tell the tale of a cat stuck in a tree, but we're actually going one better today and not even had to invent the story of a child stuck in a phone box!
It appears that the ten-year-old had just given his mum three rings to let her know that he was all right and had pressed button B to get his money back. When no coins appeared the boy put his hand into the slot in a vain attempt to retrieve the cash but became trapped in the machine.
Despite the presence of the Local Police, the Red Cross and the Fire Brigade the child remained in the firm grip of the phone box in a terrifying 90-minute ordeal during which neighbours used soap and Fairy Liquid on him, presumably as some bizarre form of punishment.
To add to the chaos of the situation caused by the police and fire vehicles blocking the road, a van parked nearby without its handbrake on rolled back into a car, causing more confusion as traffic had to be directed the wrong way round the one way system.
The child was released when a Telefonica technician dismantled the phone-box and gave him his precious 20 cents back.
