Checkmate

A recent trip by Benidorm council to the Holiday World tourism fair in Prague seems to have paid dividends in the sales of package tours to the town from the Czech Republic.

Over 4000 Czechs will be making the transcontinental journey this to Benidorm this summer by a weekly charter flight, and just to demonstrate how keen they are to get here, by twice-weekly coach!

The development is seen as a good investment because the Republic's upcoming integration into the European Community will bring more prosperity and more holiday travellers.
