Dali in Emporda
Published on 28th July, 2004
the exhibition comprises 75 photographs
We're all familiar with the weird and wonderful works of Salvador Dali, perhaps Spain's most imaginative modern artist. Everyone recognises his images of melting clocks and cracked eggs with flowers appearing out of them, but how many would recognise the man himself?
Well, now's your chance as there is an exhibition of photographs of the great artist taking place in the Palau Altea this month. Titled 'Dalí a l’Empordà,' the exhibition comprises 75 photographs taken between 1950 and 1980 by such luminaries as Melitó Casals, Joan Moncanut, Adelí Torner, Francesc Simon, Esteve Ayats and Robin Townsend, and show Dali at work and play.
Why not take a look if you're in the area?
