Disabled Sports Facilities

The Health Council has just put its plan into action which will make Poniente beach much more accessible to disabled people who may also wish to practice sporting activities there.
€60,000 will be spent giving easier parking and access to the sand and sea for people in wheelchairs (or even kids in prams) and providing sports facilities such as volleyball, sailing, diving, table tennis and so on.
We think this is a great initiative and one which is being carried out with some vigour throughout the rest of the Valencia region.
