Let There Be Light

Benidorm council has seen the future, and the future looks bright. They are going to centralise the control of every traffic light in town so that traffic circulation is more fluid at those difficult times around rush hour or when an accident has occurred. Not only this but all the public lighting will be under the very same fingertip control also.
They're going to do it all using a network of fibre optic cable which will be installed by a private contractor using robots to lay the cables through the existing rainwater drainage pipes.
But the benefits don't just end there because the installation company will also be offering cable TV, phone and Internet services to the general public.
