Villajoyosa - Old Town Renovation

one of the prettiest town centres in the Valencian Community

The historic old town of Vila Joiosa is being renovated inside and out. Urban authorities will move in at the end of the year to start the project costing €2.9 million and covering 17 streets in the town centre.

The infrastructure of the area - the drainage and drinking water systems, streetlighting, telephone and communications systems and street furniture - will be improved for the benefit of the citizens.

Meanwhile there is an ongoing process of renovating and painting the facades of the old buildings and housing in the area with the objective of 'giving the old town a better quality of life and preserving one of the prettiest town centres in the Valencian Community.' Well done Vila Joiosa.
