coaches are specially equipped with life's little luxuries
Everyone who believes that the only way to arrive in Benidorm with style is on a big silver bird better think again. There's a new luxury coach service in town which will whisk passengers between Madrid and Benidorm in a style never seen before. Coach company Alsa has started a new service called the 'Supra' class, which without stops, will mean a journey time from the capital of only 5 hours.
The coaches are specially equipped with most of life's little luxuries like wide leather armchairs, electric connections for computers, flat screen TVs, catering service, and toilets. In fact there's so much luxurious space that there's only room for 37 passengers as opposed to the 60 carried on normal coaches. Even so, Alsa is predicting 40,000 passengers paying a fairly economical price of €39.63 in its first year.
