Marketing bosses at the new Terra Natura attraction have unveiled ambitious plans for the park which is due to open next year (2005).
Its management team are predicting a million visitors through the gates annually, each spending on average €22, made up of the €13 entry fee, €6 on food, and €2 in the park's shops.
For those that don't already know Terra Natura's theme is the natural world, and the park's different areas represent the Four Corners of the globe with each region's indigenous animals, plants and even aromas represented.
In total over 200 species, 50 of which are endangered, will be present amongst the 1500 animals in the park's 340,000 square metres. In addition, hungry visitors will be able to sample dishes from many different cuisines, and there certainly won't be any endangered species on the menu in the Oriental section!
We wish the new €54 million park every success when it opens.
