Benidorm will soon have Europe's tallest residential building. At 158 metres high and 48 storeys, the Lugano Tower, which is being built in the Rincon de Loix area, will be a €40 million record breaker.
Set against the backdrop of the Sierra Helada, apartment dwellers in the building will certainly have spectacular views, but at a price, for the top floor apartments are on sale for a cool €600,000!
However, penthouse owners don't just get the best views in town, as the fastest elevators in Spain, which ascend at an astonishing 4 metres per second (less than 40 seconds to get to the top) are included in the deal, as is a pool with tropical waterfall and a parking space in the 4 storey underground garage!
Needless to say, the Mayor of Benidorm is thrilled to bits, as a building of this magnitude demonstrates the confidence that big investors have in the area.
