The new Hospital Levante, the second private hospital to open in Benidorm, is a €22 million marvel of modern technology.
Packed full of every modern medical convenience, the hospital can accommodate up to 220 patients in a style unsurpassed by some hotels. Guests, sorry, patients, will stay in double or single rooms equipped with sofa beds for their companions, plasma TV, and free wireless internet connection, as well as the latest generation of hospital beds which are push-button controlled.
Needless to say, all the medical equipment and facilities use state of the art technology, including a new system in the operating theatres which prevents germs entering, water faucets which work without being touched and special lights which use cool gas to prevent rises in temperature.
It sounds fantastic but what a shame that you have to be ill to go there!
