Benidorm Hotels - Fullest in Spain

Benidorm provided over 1.1 MILLION overnight stays
Happy hoteliers in Benidorm are expecting the figures for occupancy in August to be the best for a long while. With many hotels putting up the no vacancy signs during the bank holiday weekend and floods of visitors pouring in from all over Spain and the continent hotel bosses are quietly confident that the excellent July results will be surpassed.
In July, Benidorm achieved the second best occupancy results in the country, bettered only by Muro, a small resort in Mallorca with only a few hotels. The occupancy rates of between 89.6% midweek, and 92% at weekends, meant that Benidorm provided over 1.1 MILLION overnight stays in a month - something that Muro (where?) couldn't even dream of!
The figures bode well for the tourist industry in the town which is now gearing up for the big upcoming fiestas of the Moors and Christians, and the daddy fiesta of them all, The Benidorm Fiesta Week in early November.
Not only will there be music, fun, parades, flowers, and mucho vino for a whole week in the balmy autumn sunshine, but also because this is the 'low season' hotel rooms are even cheaper than normal. Why not treat yourself to an exciting break from the 11th to 17th November?
