an extremely clean bottom

Bits and bobs of Benidorm banter.

Benidorm council has given permission for 4 horses to go on the beach during the representation of the Moorish invasion of Spain in the Moors and Christians festival on 30th September. A special beach cleaner will be used afterwards to ensure that any residue from the horses is thoroughly removed.

The seas of Vila Joyosa now have an extremely clean bottom after 500 kilos of rubbish was removed in the 9th annual clean up this week. Twenty-five volunteer divers from the Alisub club helped remove the nautical junk from Davy Jones locker and once again not a single pirate's treasure chest was found.

Pupils at some of the schools in the area will have the chance to study construction techniques, plumbing and electrical wiring this term. Not that these are new subjects on the curriculum, it's just that many school buildings are not yet finished and are still swarming with builders as the kids return from their hard earned 3 month summer break.
