Benidorm Christmas Decorations

The main streets of Benidorm are already illuminated by thousands of light bulbs giving the place a real feeling of Christmas. However the socialist town hall opposition are not impressed and are, as usual, moaning about the less than lefty ruling party.
They say that there's more to Benidorm than a few main streets in the middle of town and that every district should be lit up like a Christmas tree at this time of year. Goodness only knows how much this policy would cost to purchase decorations and electricity if carried out!
Anyway, on a more festive note, the Chambers of Commerce and Council of Benidorm and surrounding small towns have organised the annual Christmas shop window competition. With pride at stake the town's shop owners pull out all the stops to ensure that their display is the best. If you're in town why not take a stroll around the shopping streets and admire their artistic window dressing?
