Terra Mitica's Flying Visits
Published on 26th March, 2005
Terra Mitica's sixth season got underway last week with 15,000 paying visitors thronging the park on its first day of opening. Laid on specially for Easter was a spectacular performance by the circus wonderland and the park also had some special guests making a couple of flying visits.
First to drop in were the Spanish Army's Parachute section of the Acrobatic Patrol who launched themselves fearlessly out of a plane and put on a high speed display while descending to terra firma.
Less spectacularly, Francisco Camps, the President of the Generalitat of Valencia spent 90 minutes visiting Terra Mitica, Terra Natura, and the new Xeresa golf complex, and later pronounced Benidorm's tourist offer as the 'most potent in Spain and Europe.' We wonder what he would have thought had he spent a fortnight here?
