Marine theme park Mundomar has unveiled ambitious expansion plans on the business side with news that it will be opening a new venture in the Caribbean.

However this multi-million dollar news pales into total insignificance when we tell you that yet another baby dolphin has been born in Benidorm's branch of Mundomar!

The new dolphin made its debut last Saturday and brings up to three the number of dolphins born there over the last two months. An exhaustive study into dolphin habits by the park's boffins has paid dividends with this sudden population explosion and puts Mundomar at the top of the marine mammal nativity league in Europe.

Eleven dolphins have been born here since the park opened in 1996, and if the sea lions keep up their breeding activities, seven have been born so far, they'll be able to have a dolphins v sea lions football match!
