Benidorm’s Nearly Full

Benidorm hotel owners were cock-a-hoop with their occupancy figures for July which matched all expectations with an average 90% of all rooms full. Good enough in themselves, the figures look even better when compared with the same time last year when the average was only 80%.
The changing pattern of tourism is also shown in the statistics for the nationality of visitors. During the first fortnight of the month 57% of visitors were foreigners but as the month went on and the Spanish summer holidays started the national visitors became the majority with 52%.
