Benidorm Tow Away Zone

Not every bad parker is as lucky as in our bilingual parking fine story above for in the last year no less than 10,868 drivers have returned to their car to find that it had been towed away by the council's tow truck.

It will come as no surprise that almost half of the total vehicles towed away are badly stationed in the summer months when the town is packed and parking is at an absolute premium. However what the figures do show is that there is a hardcore 5% of the total car population of the town who appear to be unable to park legally. In the low season there are less cars on the roads, but 5% are still towed away so make sure you're not one of them - it's €90 to get the car back!
