An accident blackspot on the outskirts of Benidorm is to be improved at a cost of half a million Euros. The N332 road on which 60 people have died since 1988, the latest two married police officers last week, is to be made into a dual carriageway to improve safety.
Meanwhile in town the council has just paid out €600 in compensation to drivers whose cars where damaged because the town's traffic lights weren't working properly.
Benidorm taxi drivers say that of every 10 journeys they make no less than eight are with British passengers.
