Twin Terras Open

Benidorm's twin theme parks will both be open for the new season this week. Terra Mitica kicks off its sixth season with new resolve after having experienced some financial problems last year. The five areas of the park, Rome, Egypt, Greece, the Islands and Iberia, are ready and waiting to receive visitors to the spectacular rides and shows on offer, whilst the Greek area has the fabulous new fairground ride 'Synkope' which moves through 240 degrees at a height of 35 metres and at speeds of 90 km per hour! Terra Natura, our newest theme park, opens at last with a massive advertising campaign focussing on the huge population area in the southern part of Spain whose inhabitants could make a day trip of a visit to the park. The marketing team hope that the population here will sustain the park during the off season when Benidorm doesn't have so many foreign visitors. Good luck to both parks this year.
