Benidorm's Best Combination
Published on 5th December, 2006
the town's hotels were chocker
What do you get when you combine the warmest November weather for years with one of the biggest festivals in Spain? Easy, a good time for all and a group of extremely happy hotel owners. This combination certainly brought out the crowds and the town's hotels were chocker during the festival and had an average occupancy during the whole month of 76.8% - four points up on last year.
Quite naturally, the town is a big draw for the Spanish market during the big holiday periods within Spain. However aside from these peaks of activity the British market is the predominant one in Benidorm with well over half of all visitors coming from Britain.
It will be interesting to see what happens this week with two big Spanish public holidays looming......................

Where am I?
