Finestrat Changing Rooms
Published on 16th May, 2006
Come on. Hands up anyone who’s struggled on a hot beach trying to hold a towel round them with one hand as they’ve hopped about trying to remove a sopping wet cozzie without putting their private personal possessions on public display.
Difficult isn’t it? Well for those of us who don’t have two pairs of hands the town council of La Cala de Finestrat, the lovely little resort just past Poniente Beach, are providing a useful solution. Four new individual changing cabins will be situated on the beach to make the putting on and taking off of our bikinis that much easier and of course private.
It’s just one of a series of improvements that the council is undertaking which also includes the repositioning of palm trees, and more garden areas.
So well done Finestrat council and a big Spotlight pat on the back for taking a very old idea and bringing it right up to date.
