The Ice Rink Cometh?

Visitors to Benidorm this winter will be in a win win situation as far as the Christmas festivities are concerned. The council bosses responsible for the Fiestas are currently negotiating with a company in Palma, Mallorca to install an ice rink in the town hall square.

Because the rink will be an open air one, the current high temperatures will make it impossible to prevent the ice melting.

So if the temperatures drop below 20 degrees centigrade we'll all be able to pirhouette Torvill and Dean style, and if not, we'll all be on the beach. What a terrible predicament to be in?
