All Aboard the Night Train

It's officially summer and the fantastic festival of San Juan and the hogueras - where fantastic paper models go up in flames to welcome summer - has just finished.
Because of the popularity of this festival in Benidorm and all along the coast to Alicante, where 200,000 visitors packed the beaches on 'burning night,' the local tram/train company increased its timetable. Special trams were laid on throughout the night so people could shuttle up and down the coast for the hogueras.
The good news is that this nocturnal service continues throughout the months of high summer on what is called 'the Night Owl Express.' This train makes stops at all the popular areas - including the Benidorm Discos - where there are lots of clubs and bars all through the long hot night. Passengers buy one ticket and can hop on and off to their heart's content.
Sounds like a great service. Just ask at the local station for prices and timetable.
