Anyone whose just arrived in Benidorm and given their mum three rings to let her know they've arrived safely should give thanks to Hosbec and BT. Hosbec, the hotels owners association, has just signed a deal with telecoms giant BT (yes the BT we all know and love from Britain) which will make calling home much cheaper.
Clients in Hosbec hotels will now save a whopping 79% on calls to the rest of Europe and the UK. So now it'll be so much easier to find out that 'that fine rain which soaks you through' is still falling back in Blighty!
Even better, clients will be able to access satellite pictures of the British weather on their laptops as BT also want to establish WiFi hotspots in the hotels too.
