Benidorm's Recycled Water

Things are going swimmingly well on Benidorm's clean streets these days. Thanks to an accord between the street cleaning department and the sports department at the town hall, the old, unwanted water at the sport's centre's pool will be used to clean the streets.

The savings on this scheme, as opposed to using ordinary water will be impressive, especially when we tell you that this pool alone will provide more than 1 million litres of water.

Started last year, the scheme is not limited to council pools, the street cleaners are happy to use the water from hotel pools which need to be drained over the winter period to keep our streets spotlessly clean.
