Benidorm Salsa Festival 2006

The hot Afro-Cuban and Latin rhythms of the Caribbean and beyond hit Benidorm this month in the first annual Salsa Festival.

The Palm Beach Hotel is hosting this festival in its Hawaii Salon on 14th and 15th July when top salsa bands Tropical Gem and Agualiné will perform. Tickets are only €20 and can be purchased from the hotel.

This event is sure to be well patronised as it has been publicised on websites dedicated to the music and dance of Cuba and Puerto Rico for a while now. If you're not sure how to salsa, there's a warm up event planned for 8th July in the hotel's 'El Templo' disco when David Pavon will shake and shimmy with an eight piece band. Tickets for this show are €25.
