Benidorm Song Contest Coincidence

The Benidorm Palace was packed to the rafters last night by the great and the good all wanting to see who would win the town's annual song contest. They were joined by a massive audience on Spain's channel 9 for a live broadcast of the competition which has attracted great attention since Julio Iglesias won it in 1968.

And the winner was……… La Década Prodigiosa, it means prodigious decade, with a song called 'A ti' (to you)

And the coincidence was……..the group were in the competition exactly one decade ago when they came third.
