Vegas in Benidorm

a new 6 part comedy series for ITV entitled ‘Benidorm.’

Visitors to Benidorm at the moment have a very good chance of bumping into the not insubstantial figure of one of Britain’s biggest comedians and Guinness drinkers, Mr. Johnny Vegas. The boy Vegas is in town, accompanied by 14 other actors, 50 extras and 44 technicians filming a new 6 part comedy series for ITV entitled ‘Benidorm.’

The show will be aired in February next year and will feature the cast, which also includes comedy talent such as Janine (Waiting for God) Duvitski, Kenny (New Tricks) Ireland, Nicholas (Nathan Barley) Burns and Hugh (Catherine Tate Show) Sachs, getting into hilarious scrapes.

The Mayor of Benidorm is right behind the production of the series and reckons that it will provide a load of free publicity for the town. Let's just hope that the deal didn’t involve providing a load of free Guinness for Johnny!
