Benidorm finished 2006 at the top of the league for hotel occupancy during the year. The average figure – and remember that this is across the hundreds of hotels in Benidorm, winter, spring, summer and fall – was a whopping 79.1%.
Our fabulous beaches will be even more secure for sunbathers and swimmers this year. The council, together with the company which has the beach concessions, have splashed out €53,000 on a new launch to patrol the seas by the shore.
The Police's special beach squad will use the 7.5 metre, 200 horsepower launch to improve the security service to the public and look cool at the same time.
