Without doubt Benidorm is one of the most popular holiday spots in the world for the British. However one startling fact that hardly ever seems to surface is that it also one of the most popular holiday destinations for the Spanish. Hundreds of thousands of them arrive every year on trains and boats and planes from other parts of the peninsula and its islands.
The tourist authorities spend as much money promoting Benidorm to the Spanish as they do to foreign visitors. The latest campaign to publicise the will utilise the Spanish equivalent of Pearl &
Dean to show an advert for the town in 150 cinemas across the country. The ads will be shown in 30,000 'spots' during October, November and December to encourage more tourists.
So, after leaving this theatre, why not visit Benidorm for a week's holiday?
