Benidorm Christmas Tragedy

over €2 million richer
Isn't it odd how what should be the most wonderful time of the year is oft times tinged with sadness and tragedy? Some poor soul in Benidorm will be spending Christmas over €2 million richer than last year. That's the amount on the winning lottery ticket that was sold last week in the La Cala lottery office.
As yet we don't know the winner's identity (or their address or phone number) but one thing is for sure, there'll be some heartbreaking decisions to be made over the festive period; whether to give
up work, where to go on holiday, (not Benidorm again?) whether to buy a new house and of course, whether to keep all their old friends or to get a load of hangers-on and lackies to help spend their
money.
Whatever they decide to do, we wish it was us instead!
