13 bookings and four red cards
Come on boys. You're on your jollies, roasting on a red hot beach surrounded by skimpy bikinis and sipping an ice cold pint. What's the first thing that comes to mind? Why, football of course!
If you fancy seeing the ball hit the back of the net in a live scenario why not pop along and cheer on the lads of Benidorm Football club. The season hasn't started yet but there was an action packed
'friendly' match this weekend when Castellón were the visitors.
In an incident strewn game, Benidorm won 3 – 2, scoring the winner in the 91st minute. If that wasn't enough excitement there were 13 bookings and four red cards given during the game, and to
cap it all the ref sent somebody off after the game had finished and the players were in the tunnel.
OK, so it's not FC Barcelona, but you still get all the excitement and passion of the beautiful game.
