Keeping Fit in Benidorm

Look out all you couch potatoes heading Benidorm way because the 5th Annual 'Sector Fitness Convention' is set to take place here on 1st to 3rd of June. Over a thousand fitness fanatics will descend on the town in their skin tight leotards for three days of working out, aerobics and looking drop dead gorgeous – and that's just the blokes!

Over 200 instructors will supervise the sessions which will take place at Aqualandia water park and the Lope de Vega holiday complex. Activities on offer will include fitness and aerobics workouts, floor work, indoor cycling, Aquafitness activities,'Salsa-Fit' and Latin Caribbean dance workouts with Venezuelan instructor Soraya Escobar. Despite Soraya being a really good reason to get along there and tone up I will be following the Johnny Vegas fitness regime on those three days. If anyone wishes to do a bit of real exercise in Benidorm, have a look at the Sector Fitness website (unfortunately only in Spanish).
