Benidorm's Hard Acts to Follow

Spring is almost here and it's time to start thinking about the programme of big concerts for summer in Benidorm. Over the last few years the council has contracted the complete organisation of the concerts to a private company called Mundosenti2. However there has been a lot of criticism of Mundosenti2's marketing, promotion, artists and cost from many quarters.
The Mayor has just announced that the council will no longer use them and will organise the concerts themselves. Some of the big names which have appeared in Benidorm in the recent summer concerts have been, James Brown, The Rolling Stones, Elton John, Supertramp, The Cult and The Corrs.
There's a list of big name artists sitting on the Mayor's desk which depending on availability and cost could see some more super stars in the Benidorm limelight. Don't tell a soul that Prince, Madonna, George Michael, David Bisbal, Shakira and Il Divo are on the Mayor's hit list!
If I were the Mayor, I'd invite Robbie Williams. He'd love it here and he could do a bit of cabaret in the clubs with his dad!
