no sign of the property bubble bursting
It's nearly everybody's dream to wake up in their own home and look out over the balcony at the clear blue sea and sky. In fact so many people are pursuing this idyll and there is such a limited supply of properties that second hand house prices are booming and Benidorm is leading the way.
Sources from the Association of Estate Agents in Alicante province say that prices have recently shot up and there is no sign of the property bubble bursting in the near future. Their statistics show
that in the coastal areas of the province, Benidorm has the highest average prices with people paying €2907 per square metre of building. Other prices were: Altea - €2526, Alicante
-€2073 and Torrevieja, the lowest at €1787.
At prices like this the estate agents reckon that people will be better off buying a little further away from the sea where prices are a bit more realistic.
