New Rides at the Twin Terras

experience the feeling of 'zero gravity'

We've news of some exciting new rides at Benidorm's two giant theme parks, Terra Mitica and Terra Natura.

First off, the water park section of Terra Natura, known as Aqua Natura has just inaugurated 'The Cresta' a kind of roller coaster with water. You descend at high speed from a height of 20 metres on a one, or two, man float and end up with a mighty splash in a giant pool. They reckon that you'll experience the feeling of 'zero gravity' during one 8 metre drop – equivalent to walking home after 8 pints of lager at Champions!

Meanwhile Terra Mitica has opened its new super roller coaster 'Inferno.' Aptly named and situated in the Rome area, this is a fourth generation coaster known as a ball coaster. It reaches speeds of up to 70 kph and the carriages turn through 360 degrees during the ride – and so it should at a cost of €3 million. We reckon that when you get off, it'll feel like you've just had 8 pints in Champions!
