Benidorm returns to British telly screens on 14th October courtesy of ITV. This time it's not the sitcom starring rotund Merseyside comedian Johnny Vegas, but an edition of 'Wish you were Here' featuring rotund Merseyside actor and star of sofacom The Royle Family, Ricky Tomlinson.

Ricky's a big Benidorm fan and has a caravan here for his holidays every year. It'll be interesting to hear what he has to say about the town and we're sure it won't be 'Benidorm, my *rse!'
