I Love Benidorm

You've probably heard the expression that 'nobody has a monopoly on good ideas.' This has certainly proved to be the case round Benidorm way recently.

The Hoteliers' Association has been shouting from the rooftops that the Balearic Islands tourist authority has adopted the slogan 'Much More' for its advertising campaign this year.
They point out that the Balearic copycats are using the same slogan used over the last 5 years 'Benidorm is Much More.'

They're not really angry, just proud that they came up with the slogan first and that imitation is the sincerest form of flattery.
Ironically, Benidorm's super new slogan, 'I Love Benidorm,' was originally used by New York City in 1977!
