Benidorm Shorts

pursued by a giant rolling boulder

Despite talk of economic deceleration or recession in Spain and the rest of Europe Benidorm hotels are gearing up for the 'crisis' by taking on more staff. The town already employs 30% of the total amount of hotel workers in the entire Valencian Community and this year has employed another 156 workers to ensure everyone guest gets good service.

A recent advertising campaign for Benidorm's attractions was seen in Spain's cinemas by some 4 million people. In one week alone nearly 2 million people saw the ad, which was screened when the new Indian Jones film was released. Hopefully, none of these prospective visitors to Benidorm will arrive hotly pursued by a giant rolling boulder and arrow shooting natives.

Mundomar's Dolphin breeding programme is showing excellent results as the arrival of another Flipper junior this week proves. It's the 14th baby to be born here and joins the other mum's and babies in a special nursery pool.
