higher on the cute-o-meter
Thanks to Terra Natura's breeding programme you'll be able to feast your eyes on some kitties and pooches of an unusual nature from now on. They've imported a boy bush dog – a singularly ugly little creature from South and Central America from a zoo in England - in the hope that it'll produce many more little bushettes along with the girl dog they already have.
It's squat, wire haired, likes eating big juicy rodents and is sometimes known as a vinegar fox because of the pungent smell of its urine when it marks its teritory. Bet you can't wait to see them
both in their lurve nest?
Much higher on the cute-o-meter are two little baby ocelot twins which have recently been born there. This is a real coup for Terra Natura
as normally ocelots only tend to have one baby at a time in the competitively hostile environment of South America to make chances of survival that much better.
Unfortunately, mummy ocelot can't cope with the two so expert vets there have artificially reproduced ocelot milk and are feeding the baby by hand to ensure it grows healthily.
We wish the best of Benidorm luck to all the new arrivals
