Davis Cup for Beni?

The prestigious tennis competition, the Davis Cup, could be coming to Benidorm. The semi-final between Spain and USA is due to be held in Spain between 19th and 21st September and Benidorm is one of ten possible hosts for the matches.
Their application will be reviewed by the Royal Spanish Tennis Federation and the hosts will be announced on 9th May. Should Benidorm be selected against places like Madrid and Barcelona a special
stadium holding 18,000 fans will be built near to Terra Mittica.
So it's fingers crossed until the 9th. Good luck Benidorm.
